The signpost for the camping area is 2WD accessible by tightly packed dirt roads, though with some large rocks and loose areas so care is required. However, the actual camp sites are further up a very steep dirt path with large humps. While we were able to get a 2WD vehicle up the path, it was a terrifying experience that I would not recommend to others. I certainly wouldn't have attempted it if the alternative wasn't turning around and going home. It was certainly in the back of my mind during the trip that we had to find a way down that path to leave, though thankfully going down was a lot easier than getting up.

The trees in the camping area do not provide much shade and it was very hot in mid-February. The creek is a bit mossy though and, again, there is absolutely no shade. It is a very steep walk down down to the falls from the camp site.

The camp ground areas are cleared well and have fire rings. The falls are nice for swimming and fishing.

I would recommend this camp site, but only in the cooler months and be sure to bring shade with you.
